Senior Pastor: Prophet D. L. Shavers, Sr.
Prophet Darrell Shavers was born in Daytona Beach, FL in the early 80’s. He is the eldest of five siblings and the only born to Missionary Gloria Shavers and Deacon Breece Robinson.
He is the Founder of Deliverance Temple Ministries Worldwide, Inc. and the Pastor/ Founder of the Breath of Life Deliverance Temple Ministries. Pastor Shavers is fully licensed and ordained within the Apostolic Faith. He has serves his community in various capacities. The Prophet carries the unadulterated word across the country teaching and preaching Jesus without compromise. God has entrusted the Man of God with a ministry that has touched the lives of many and impacted the hearts of many more by the awesome power of the Holy Spirit which operates through Him. Surly he is a gift to the body of Christ and an inspiration to people everywhere, proving that God can take the broken pieces of a shattered life and use it for His glory.
He has traveled, preaching, lecturing, teaching, encouraging, and strengthening the faith of the people. He sincerely believes that, for someone to, constantly lead in this forever, changing world, that one must be “Transparent.” In sharing the truth about his journey of serving the Lord, he admits that he has looked back, thought back, and even stepped back into ways of his past. Yes, the Prophet is and will be the first to admit the he was not always Save, Sanctified, and Fill with the Holy Spirit.
As a young adult and ordained minister, his mother was awaken out of her sleep by a knock on the door. It was the Death Angel, who replied to her “I come for your son.” Thank God for a praying mother. Because of the many things he witnessed in the lives of many prominent leaders alone his journey, he was hurt and let down, stating “I am tired of Church Folks.” He decided to walk away and turn his back on God. After turning his back on God, he became incapacitated, by being paralyzed from the waist down. He recovered only to be hit in a head on collision but left the hospital unhurt. Later, he was thrown from a moving vehicle, but God allowed the oncoming semi to stop before taking him out. Over the course of the years, the devil has sought to take his life, “Yet He Lives.”
It is through the power of God that he preaches today. His faith and testimony exemplifies the power of God and are evident through the miraculous healing of God. What a mighty God we serve. It was in the flood of 2009, while fasting that God came to the Man of God in a vision and whispered the words Breath of Life Deliverance Temple. Giving him the word that through his ministry if any choose to be saved, sanctified, and set free that he will Deliver and Breathe the Breath of Life into them.
Even in this trying world, it is with all his ability that he fights to continue moving forward. Some may call him astute intellectual but one thing for sure in that his skills to exegetic scripture has helped to revive, restore, and renew hope within many fellow Christians.
He leads by example, and as a Servant-leader he is extremely passionate about the things and children of God. He is a loving father, mentor, writer, and spiritual advisor, who now stand firmly on the word and promises of God.
Assistant Pastor: Stephen D. Andrews
Became a servant of the Lord on February 14, 1997 at the age of 18. Served faithfully in various auxiliaries as a teacher, vocalist for choir & praise team, usher, etc. On April 9, 2006 became a Licensed/Ordained Minister and on May 1, 2011 was Ordained Elder, both by New Jerusalem Worship Ministries, Inc. and with their blessings, humbly accepted the call to Pastor (Spirit & Truth Worship Ministries) in January of 2013.
